However it's really being a little disingenuous. Overpopulation is a problem while we have poverty. Rapidly growing populations in poor countries just make that country more poor. It does not matter if there's arable land if there's corruption and war that limits access to resources. It does not matter if the world population will level off in 50 years if five billion children have to die of starvation on the way there.
Your site is a cartoon version of http://pop.org/ which is an organization that simply has a "pro-life" agenda - i.e. they are religiously opposed to contraception and abortion. They are pushing this nonsense science (like noting everyone in the world could fit in Texas, so heck, there's plenty of room) just because they want to promote pro-life policies.
pop.org is a privately funded organization, to the tune of $1.25 Million a year. They exist solely to promote the pro-life agenda via propaganda such as this. They really need a debunking.Content from external source:
The Population Research Institute is a non-profit research group whose goals are to expose the myth of overpopulation, to expose human rights abuses committed in population control programs, and to make the case that people are the world’s greatest resource. Our growing, global network of pro-life groups spans over 30 countries.
Example of their actual agenda:Content from external source:
The Population Research Institute (PRI) is a non-profit organization based in Front Royal, Virginia. The PRI describes itself as "a non-profit research and educational organization dedicated to objectively presenting the truth about population-related issues." PRI argues against the notion that human overpopulation is occurring, and refers to itself as a "pro-life" organization.
The Population Research Institute has in past years received funding from The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, Inc., which is stated by a liberal watch-dog group as being "the country's largest and most influential right-wing foundation".

PRI has been helping families for over 20 years! Our work has cost abortionistslike International Planned Parenthood and the UNFPA over $790 million, with a good portion of that redirected to family friendly programs like Child Survival.

Dear Steve Mosher
Peace in Jesus Christ!
The practice of abortion, artificial birth control, sterilization and a culture of secularism/materialism have caused out country and the Church serious problems. Only God reigns and we must serve. Because of the above we lack native-born children and hence need immigration and Catholic families need children to replenish the Church and give us priestly and religious vocations.
[We spread] our immoral habits abroad and it revolts Muslim countries especially. Our culture and survival as a prosperous nation needs Catholics to marry young, have more than two children, and preach the God-given glories of motherhood — a woman’s fertility is our greatest treasure and not the boardroom of business of politics.
Anthony D. Lutz, Virginia
We agree with you totally. Our bad habits of contraceptive use and sterilization are indeed killing our nation. As history has shown all over the world, religious vocations come from larger families. So if we continue to have small families, we will continue to have the priest and religious shortage we see growing in our country today.
Steven Mosher, PRI President

Homofascists March On
As the homosexual “rights” movement gains ground, it seeks to silence the opposition.
Steven W. Mosher
When Nazis are talked about today, there is usually no mention of certain of their prominent aspects. Of course, those aspects which don’t fit into the politically correct view of history are those which get no mention.
So you rarely hear of the Nazis’ push for eugenic abortion, for euthanasia of the unfit (i.e., the disabled, sick, or dying), or their persecution of the Catholic Church. You are even less likely to hear of the prominent role that homosexuality and a hyper-masculine homosexualist ideology played in the early days of the Nazi Party until Hitler purged the most flamboyant of those elements, perhaps to prevent average Germans from turning away from the newly successful fascists.
Some of that spirit lives on and is growing. Today’s homosexual “rights” activists are determined to impose upon Western society a neo-paganism that is anti-life, anti-family, and anti-religious, and they actively seek to punish those who disagree. Obviously, homosexuality is opposed to the propagation of new human life, and the huge campaign in favor of it we now experience comes at a time when birthrates have already fallen below replacement in almost every Western country. In fact, as early as the 1960s, Planned Parenthood listed the encouragement of homosexuality as one of the methods for reducing human populations. And male homosexual behavior spreads AIDS, which increases the death rate.
