I wanted to answer that truthfully; we had a driver (what we call all of our pilots) who was FCF and Test Qualified, he was one of the old school drivers. He launched out and a few minutes later heard and felt a bang under his seat. He looked at the controls and all was indicating good, the bird felt fine, then something caught his eye in the review mirror (our bird is one of the few that has one) - part of the bird was missing. He (literally, I had to process the audio recording) casually called Ops on the radio and asked "Is it a bad thing if I can see XXXX in my mirror?" There was a pause and I reckon Ops had to pick up their jaws and then replied "Whaaaat?!" to which the driver replied smooth as silk "yeah, I had something happen and I can see XXXX in the mirror, I guess I have to declare an IFE and RTB". What had happened was the locks on one side of a large removable hatch had let go and the change in pressure swung it open and broke the locks on the other side. This movement caused the now free hatch to swing up and bounce off the engine cowling, roll over the top of the aircraft and slam into part of the fuselage removed the leading edge of that (his visual indication) and then slam into the horizontal stabilizer. Needless to say everyone shit a brick when we saw what happened as he executed a perfect landing. He climbed out of the cockpit, looked at the bird and said 'Oh is that what happened?" like it was another day at the office.
How does Maintenance sign off a Pilots gripe?

I always enjoy these low level clips, great to watch.

I posted this screenshot from Russ Tanner's Facebook chemclouds group on Wednesday. It seems that Russ was having a witch hunt this morning to find Egor Herrick. They believed him to be a hacker and tried to befriend him so that they could all block him. It was all a bit obsessive and worrying, so i reported the post to Facebook. I take a screen shot where a sensible and rational person calls them out on their idiotic beliefs and they try to form a conspiracy with no evidence to this man. It was sickening to watch. So i acted accordingly.
Russ, I know you come to this page after today's witch hunt but i am not Egor Herrick. I am actually pretending to be one of you with convincing results. I take a random photo of the sky every day and post it. The readers all reveal their disgust to a perfectly normal sky. If money was involved i'm sure i could contact Trading Standards for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Not only do they want to shoot down the planes, now they want to burn down the crops.

I got a big kick out of that photo, and the fact that 98% of those commenting thought a "chemtard" was someone who did NOT believe in chemtrails, LOL.
There's a lot of infighting going on these days, today it's the anti vaxers and the chemtards. The real chemtards that is.

I'd suggest you better not do that. You will only drive them further down the rabbit hole. They will take what they see on the chemtrails sites and look for it outside, assuming everything posted there is somehow connected to chemtrails, somehow unnatural, somehow evil. Posting regular skies there without any clarifying comments is not helping.
No offence.
Ross Marsden (May 18th, 2013)
They're pretty shot away even if i wasn't there. Have you checked out the madness going on there recently? I showed people in work, they were laughing yet horrified at the same time. I am commenting when i post there. I comment quite a lot really. As for posting regular skies, you could argue that 100% of their photos are regular sky shots. Lets pretend that i believed in chemtrails and took the matter serious, as i have witnessed a few followers doing. They have called out readers on the photo's only to be called disinfo agents. What's worse, being a disinfo agent or being ignorant and posting a sky shot which is easily explanatory? Although in that group both are one and the same.
EXAMPLE - Take a look at this thread
So me pretending to be one of them is a drop in the ocean in comparison to the BS being posted there. Even if i stopped it's still going on tenfold and the owner of the group lets them do it. It's like he doesn't care. It's just post away and they do. Does he have a PayPal Donate button tucked away anywhere or DVD's for sale?
I actually kind of enjoy it being a part of a kooky family on Facebook where everyone is a hypochondriac. We compare stories about our illness and the chemicals in the sky and where everybody else not in the group are zombies and sheeple because they cannot see the chemicals being sprayed to kill us.
A friend asked yesterday "Of all the airports and all the airlines and all the aircraft technicians, not one has come forward to say this is true. surely somebody somewhere has seen something?! Do they kill people that quit their jobs as aircraft engineers? Who fills the tanks with said chemicals and why are they so quiet?! I blame facebook"<span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: 'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif; line-height: 17px; text-align: left; ">
Even for a conspiracy theory site they are spinning out of control and it has nothing to do with me. Russ, Check yourself before accusing others of being disinfo agents. You encourage this behaviour and your unwillingness to say stop to 100% of all photographs posted.
Even if i wasn't a member of this site it would make no difference.
I might even post this one later. What do you think?
Another juicy pic of relevant information which is actively encouraged.

I tend to agree with Strawman on this. I think it is important to be as transparent as possible in your dealings with chemtrailers, and avoid mocking them. The mob mentality often means as a whole they will switch off to debate. Mind you not mocking them.is easier said than done ;-)
Titus Dafoe (May 18th, 2013)
They're pretty far gone. They ask Tanner to ban people who don't believe in Sylphs. A recent discussion about vaccinations turned into an argument between vaxers/anti vaxxers/vegetarians/"people who eat corpses" (as someone put it). They themselves have posted photos of cloudless blue skies with the comment that they're the "wrong" shade of blue.
Titus, the penis cloud has already been posted on Skywatch.
Titus Dafoe (May 18th, 2013)
oh, bollocks.
You're right there, Dave.
From now on i here thereby never to insult or ridicule a chemtard.
even though i have taken this vow, i believe the level of bs coming from that group will seem no different..
Unless.. there is some quality control on there.. (hang on that doesn't make sense).
I'll go find a hobby like flying a kite or hang gliding. Something safe where i won't die from flu like aluminium based poisoning.

I'm going to echo something Mick told another fellow on this forum who had a similar plan - if you are going to go through with your plan, there would be consideration banning you just so there is no association between you and our site. Our goals are to debunk, not to mislead and further encourage false conspiracy. I hope you understand our reasoning.
The one character aspect I am most proud of is being able to recognize that something can be a total load of crap.

Now one person is threatening self-immolation. This is what they get when they spin the hype up and use "Fear-Based Marketing" techniques on potentially unstable people.
There is a great toll of human suffering being brought on by this hoax. Those responsible for promoting this hoax need to reconsider in the light of G. Edward Griffin's research that shows the planes people see leaving "chemtrails" are ordinary commercial jets. He made the first film but stayed away from the second, hopefully is having second thoughts.
The Facebook comments are rather bizarre, considering someone's life may hang in the balance.

Yes, indeed. He's threatening suicide? "Detox him with cilantro!" Then it devolves into all the herbs they ingest. The Facebook comments are rather bizarre, considering someone's life may hang in the balance.
It's mercury, no it's anti depressive drugs, ANYTHING to avoid them owning up to them pushing him to that place.

Thanks for putting in the work, but what would you have us do? The people who are awake already know about chemtrails, and some of us know the only way to stop this is to kill the people who are doing it. So, who is going to go out and take the first shot? As for everyone else, IMO they just really do not care as long as they can get through the day without walking into a phone pole while they're head-down staring catatonically into the screen of their smartphone.
The politicians aren't going to stop it. The corporations aren't going to stop it. Only 2% of the population even cares, and that's not enough to stop anything in a peaceful manner.

Titus,
I know that Chemtrail promoters keep calling usual contrails nefarious, venomous clouds. That's bad enough. No need to feed their fear and give them even more cloud types to be afraid of. As I said, they tend to uncritically apply the knowledge they gain from these pages to the world outside. Posting what is actually the beauty of clouds there does not help debunking or critical thinking. Sorry if I sounded bossy or something, but hey, I'm German, after all.

Are you able to ask them whether they can actually find any real evidence that contradicts the "BS excuses and explanations"?

The bottom post in that clip by Patric Roddie sure reads odd if he is a bona fide chemtrail/geoengineering proponent.
"[He] finds [these sites] a good source for the [] explanations [people] will copy and paste into forums."
Is this what he does? Or does he mean he recognises these sites as the sources of the copy/paste material?
