is there a uk forecast for contrails

i am hoping to film contrails in the next couple of weeks in central london
there don't seem to be any all of a sudden!!

I'm not aware of a specific contrail forecast for the UK.

Wait for an approaching front with associated cirrus clouds. Those are the conditions most suitable for the abundant upper air moisture necessary for persistent contrail formation.
You could ask an RAF veteran from WWII, he will probably be able to feel the right conditions coming on in his bones.
