I would like to discuss this hypothesis, first establishing some agreed facts:

Hypothesis: There was a large coastal civilization which was flooded as the ice caps melted 10,000+ years ago.


Should we agree on facts?


  1. The sea level rose globally about 100 meters at the end of the last ice age.
  2. A continental size area of coast was submerged.
  3. Civilizations tend to flourish in coastal areas.



Do these facts support the Hypothesis?

Can we go slow and open with this talk please!
