There is no debate necessary. It's NOT a debate.
There are those who post belief, and those who post the truth as it's accepted and known by those who have actually studied the subjects.
For it to be a proper debate, both sides should have actual knowledge about the subject.
In the case of "chemtrails", There are those who have studied the subjects, and those who have googled "chemtrails" and have accepted everything they have found as fact. That's not research. In order for them to be in a position to debate this properly, they must have an actual understanding about the subjects, so they are in some sort of educated position to reject the information in favor of what they learned from their google searches. This is CLEARLY not the case.
And I used the term "Ironic" in response to your comment about his actions being "inappropriate".
As I have said many times,. I think making statements of fact, based on assumption and conjecture, is inappropriate. Especially when the reputations of actual people are on the line.
I am on the record as having accused you of such things, and I will forever point that out. It's inappropriate, in a big way.
And yes, I know how you feel about foul language and personal attacks.

What you mention about "turf" is ridiculous. GLP is an open forum, on the internet. It can be seen by anyone. Pointing out fearmongering on a site that promotes fearmongering is a "Noble" thing to do. I'm not asking a single person on that site to change their views. I'm asking them to be honest, and post their views as opinion, and not statements of fact. Especially considering the fact, as stated above, that these people aren't in a position to dismiss the facts based on an actual education in these subjects, as they claim. They keep saying "do the research" when they have failed to actually do what they want others to do.
I am only going to make a few more comments. . .

I think I have made it very clear . . . that what I think is possible . . . is injecting SOx in the stratosphere in an attempt to slow or reverse global warming . . . I have even stated it is not illegal in any way . . . I do think, however, contrail mitigation should be observed . . .

The polls on GLP are nonsense..They don't reflect a cross-section of society. They represent the beliefs of the lunatic fringe. Nothing more.
To put ANY value on those polls, is insane. That's not an "insult"...that's a fact.
I am fully aware of what the poll is . . . it reflects GLP to a limited extent but it is the only poll if its type I have seen . . . I think there are some interesting insights it shows . . . i.e. the CT community is not monolithic . . .
