Trying to identify an object with a contrail

The bright spots are reflections of the sun off the engines and of the winglets on the edge of the aircraft's starboard wing. The sun is to the right in the images, so it only reflects off the engines and right winglet. The port (left) winglet is at the wrong angle. If you get the location...

Galileo Project/Avil Loeb: Paper on UAP

I think he is being serious, and there is nothing wrong with theoretical science - this seems to be a genuine attempt at Theoretical UFO-ology. However, there is fine line between being theoretical , being speculative and doing some wild-ass guessing on a poor foundation. For example, the...

Galileo Project/Avil Loeb: Paper on UAP

The paper appears to be entirely theoretical, the third paragraph noting the possibility of the potential for a UAP to be manoeuvrable craft of extra-terrestrial intelligence origin. This is clarified in a later paragraph... Loeb states the aim of this paper This suggests that he believes...

Why are Starlink "Racetrack" Flares [Mostly] Reported from Planes?

From the Original poster on Twitter... I've taken Kingston ON as the rough position of the aircraft (roughly 150miles west of Montreal). I'm a bit dubious about the statement of "02:00 local time" as this is often the pilots phone time at the departure airport, which we don't know yet...

Claim : The Baghdad Phantom UAP

I think that's an unlikely propulsion fuel for a battlefield munition as it requires cooling (ie it cant be fired quickly). The cool appearance of the objects surface is probably due to cooling effect from the moving air going past. Surface heating only really occurs if there is a shock wave ...

Claim : The Baghdad Phantom UAP

I'd suggest it is more likely that the object is was a surface-to-surface rocket fired at ISIS by Iraqi Forces. If so, could we recreate the object's ballistic profile to give the potential launch site and target, as per this model....

How to see deployed Starlink "Racetrack" flares

Just an update on this - I've tried to find accurate Satellite orbital data for the Group 5-4 that was launched on 12 Feb for the time of the sighting ( 01:42am UTC on 17 Feb 23) but the closest I can find is the predicted data after the launch on the 12th. Will keep trying.
