    Weird lighting, but already debunked.

So, I managed to work out the your location and time of your sighting, and it doesnt tie in with the time of the earlier sighting ... unless there was a second de-orbit burn six hours later? Will have to check that.

    Weird lighting, but already debunked.

Not sure of the time or location of your sighting but something similar was seen earlier in the UK. This was the SpaceX second stage rocket booster from the earlier Starlink launch orbiting. Source: https://twitter.com/ufoofinterest/status/1517245865479397376?t=A3L4aYOe9Ej8WSyGtZ-iwA&s=19...

Multiple UFOs near Southampton airport (2005)

I think that confirms the large bright object above the UFOs as the moon

Explained: UFOs over Melbourne April 2022 [Roulettes Aerobatic Planes]

To be fair to 'normal' people who see these things, they probably wouldn't even be aware of the other possibilities of what they saw, don't consider actually checking what was in the sky at that time, or know even how to check. This is why the collection of nerds, avgeeks, spotters on here are...

Someone on Reddit found this.... Similar, but not close enough.... Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/u1i5uu/half_transparent_inflatable_bubble_metapod/ Not only, but also.... butterfly & moth cocoons can include a transparent film.... This is the Common Crow Butterfly cocoon...

"Metapod" UFO. Top voted post of the month on r/UFOs, maybe top of all time

Interesting - I had thought that the object was 'fortune cookie shaped' too, but then again.... I aslo thought it might have been a nose, a manatee, a walrus, a cocoon and a swaddled baby.

Multiple UFOs near Southampton airport (2005)

That's an Air Traffic Control 'squadron' at the Swanwick ATC centre. It's not an RAF station as you'd think. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Area_Control_Centre

Multiple UFOs near Southampton airport (2005)

Just another twist on the model flying hypothesis.... we showed earlier that the objects could have been over Itchen Valley Country Park... ... There's an Itchen Valley model flying club.... http://ivfg.co.uk/Index.html

Multiple UFOs near Southampton airport (2005)

I agree that the apparent motion and acceleration of the objects is probably due to the edge-on vote of their circular flightpaths. However I think the motion is not what I would expect from a Chinook.

Multiple UFOs near Southampton airport (2005)

Trying to establish the exact point of the camera in the video... this screen shot suggests there is a small hedge an a round building nearby... I have found this location at the southern end of the Southampton airport site... And as the camera pans to the right we see a tarmac'd area...

Explained: UFOs over Melbourne April 2022 [Roulettes Aerobatic Planes]

In the original video the objects appear many km (3.2 km to be exact) away from the witness. This matches with the analysis we have done. They were actually performing. This was a display for a Royal Australian Air Force 100th anniversary celebration at RAAF Base Point Cook. Everything has ben...

Also weird that the Roulettes didn't see the disks and cancel their display due to an air proximity hazard.
