    Blickling Hall Lake UFO

I don’t know, unfortunately. I found it on a Google Image search but when I clicked through to the result the image didn’t seem to be there (it was the National Trust page on the Blickling Estate). I found some similar images here dated Jan 2014...

    Blickling Hall Lake UFO

The YouTube video description says the date on the photo is “Dec 97” but it appears to actually say “27 Dec 96”. It can’t have been 1997 as the Christmas period in 1997 was mild, wet and windy in England: https://www.trevorharley.com/1997.html There was however snow on 27 December 1996 across...

    Blickling Hall Lake UFO

The sun is a possibility but the photo looks like there’s an overcast sky with no shadows that I can see. But the colours are very weird (is it even a colour photo? Snow scenes can look monochrome in photos) so it’s hard to say. l think a snowflake lit up by flash is most plausible.

    Blickling Hall Lake UFO

The viewpoint looks very similar to this photo, with the lake unfrozen: Looking at the aerial view of the lake and the position of the trees it looks as though this was taken from the northern end of the lake: I can't see a candidate building there.

    Reutlingen Fake UFO Video 2013

I have spent a bit of time trying to figure out where this was filmed. No match yet but the landscape certainly looks as though it could be in the Perthshire region, near where the other sighting was.

Judging Size and Distance of Unidentified Objects

I have virtually no stereo vision* - I have two eyes, but the sight in one is fairly poor to the extent that my brain apparently discards the information from that eye, so I don't see in three dimension. The points about non-stereoscopic depth cues are valid: I can drive and park a car, catch a...

St Ives Bay UFO On Hayle Beach [Probably a Drone]

Yes, the time stamp goes back to 21:15:41 at that point in the video (pause at 3:46 just before the video zooms in). It’s just a repeat of the beginning.

St Ives Bay UFO On Hayle Beach [Probably a Drone]

The lack of reflection is a good point, although if it was a drone flying directly above the people on the beach, then it looks to me as though any reflection on the wet sand could easily be blocked from view by the grassy slope and cliff that are in front of the camera. There's quite a big drop...

St Ives Bay UFO On Hayle Beach [Probably a Drone]

It looks as if the group of people are actually down on the beach itself, either in or next to the shallow stream/pool that crosses the sand, rather than on the "beach path". I think the most obvious person who is walking from right to left near the centre of the frame at around the 0:18 mark...

I assume this is an edited video? Certainly gives that impression, and you would assume that if it was real it would have been huge news! Source: https://twitter.com/stratton74/status/1292843900357488643

Debunking "Contrails don't Persist" with a Study of 70 Years of Books on Clouds

Many passenger airliners have information displays on the TV screens on board which show the current altitude, speed, location and often the external air temperature. Have a look next time you are on a plane. No matter how hot it is on the ground, chances are it will be somewhere in the -40C...

"Drone" Photo over Colorado - Actually a Boeing 737

Actually I can think of one occasion where I was puzzled by what a star was, although I was fairly sure that it was a star or planet. I was cycling home two or three years ago and could see a light flashing vividly red and green, low down on the horizon. It was rather striking but I knew that...

"Drone" Photo over Colorado - Actually a Boeing 737

I can see how airliners can be mistaken for drones but I have to admit I've always been puzzled by how anybody could mistake a bright star or planet for a "UFO". I know that it can and does happen, but in all the times I've been outside at night with Venus, Sirius or anything else visible in the...

Only in the same way as a given point on your car tyre "speeds up and slows down" as you drive along the motorway, from 140mph when it is at the top to 0mph when it is at the bottom (relative to the road, and assuming you are driving at 70mph).

I'm confused. Where is the video where the shadow appears to point downwards? It certainly isn't in the first video posted in the OP.

    90 Degree plane trail?

As the above post shows, minor course corrections can appear like sharp turns when viewed almost "end-on". I posted this photo I took from my office window on here a few years ago: I took a screenshot of Flightradar24 at the time. (My position is just visible as the blue dot on the left, in...

Photos of Clouds and Skies (That you took yourself)

Pretty patterns yesterday evening. The dots across the top left corner are the remnants of another contrail that had split into vortex rings. They drifted off pretty quickly, this is five minutes later:

That's east, not west. @bt1111, what is the correct date? Your video says October 3 but the photos say October 1.
