Metallic Ball - Brass Knuckles Advertising Balloon

good catch! Published: September 6, 2017 On August 28th, 2017 there were multiple reports and videos of a strange sphere hovering over Los Angeles. This UFO sighting is actually really easy to explain, as it's nothing more than a balloon that was an advertisement for a company called “Brass...

Burkes Flat (Aus): The Bent Headlights case - another fire tower?

Yeah, that's not true. Take for example the "racetrack"UFO sightings that turned out to be Starlink. The descriptions are correct except for the part where the observed motion is interpreted incorrectly. The "floating jellyfish" was based on an actual video, as was GIMBAL, but people were unable...

That's why provenance and provenience matter! If you don't know where something came from, it's not evidence for anything but itself. (i.e. "this picture exists", not "the spaceship in this picture exists". AI art drives this point home more succinctly than Photoshop has done.

...and that is unreliable, too, because the description doesn't match, the distance doesn't match at all, and he might well have seen something we simply don't know about. Mind you, I'm not saying it's impossible. But it doesn't feel likely to me at this point, either.

Burkes Flat (Aus): The Bent Headlights case - another fire tower?

I think your theory would make great fiction, but it rests on very unreliable evidence that you have to cherry-pick to make everything work, making it feel contrived.

Note that even the statement that Greenwald reproduced is advertising their symposium and his film. And that he's "embarrassed and ashamed" not at his misrepresenting the photograph, but at the people calling him out for it (and the profiteering). If you were an extraterrestrial, would you want...

Ron James UFO crashed UFO pictures

I wonder if Ron James would call this "nasty" if the shoe was on the other foot? When I first saw his remark, I thought, "he's left the high road here, lashing out like that". But the remark actually does betray a messianic view of aliens, and the idea that everyone must abide by the divine law...

    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

I thought it's documented that the newspaper contacted the MoD, and they told the paper it's bogus, since they had no such aircraft flying there at the time? That would mean the story lacked corroboration, and thus a quality paper wouldn't print it.
