House Oversight Hearing on UAPs - July 26, 2023

Monheim also notes that he is required to protect the identities of whistleblowers and witnesses. So he can't just call anyone up and ask, "did you tell person A about secret X", because that would expose the whistleblower.

    Operation Paperclip etymology

Metabunk deals in claims of evidence. If you have no claim and no evidence, there's nothing to debunk. This is evidence. This is absence of evidence. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, i.e. the mere lack of evidence does not by itself imply that something did not happen. ;)

Claim by Paul Landis: he found JFK assassination bullet in limo and placed it on stretcher

We can take something seriously without trusting it 100%. It helps if the witness has notes. Landis's 7-page statement was wriiten shortly after the incident, so it should be more accurate than what he thinks he remembers 60 years later. The written statement is corroborated by other...

Helped by the conspiracy theory book he read.

request : is it a insect or a laserpointer on a nightcam video. How to indentify ?

Insects "glow" as they move through a brightly lit volume of space, typically close to the camera. Since the background appears dark, most people are not aware that such a well-lit space can exist in front of it. (Anyone who has ever done stage/theater lighting would know this.) The deception is...

    Video of helicopter leaving "chemtrail"?

As this appears to be a group of military helicopters, we might be looking at tactical smoke here, especially as it does look very on/off.

Claim by Paul Landis: he found JFK assassination bullet in limo and placed it on stretcher

You linked to an exhibit, not a hearing protocol. Volume XVIII of the Warren Commission Hearings and Exhibits is the third of the eleven exhibits volumes. The set of 26 volumes consists of 5 volumes of testimony taken by Commission members in Washington DC (volumes I to V), 10 volumes of...

Claim by Paul Landis: he found JFK assassination bullet in limo and placed it on stretcher

Given this testimony, it's not clear to me at which point Landis had access to JFK's stretcher, to place the bullet "next to Kennedy". It feels unlikely that Landis would relate that he picked up a cigarette lighter, but omit to mention the bullet.

Claim by Paul Landis: he found JFK assassination bullet in limo and placed it on stretcher

From a copy of the NYT article: What it comes down to is a copper-jacketed 6.5mm projectile. The Warren Commission decided that one of the bullets fired that day struck the president from behind, exited from the front of his throat and continued on to hit Connally, somehow managing to injure...

    Operation Paperclip etymology

Or that the officer running the project (and thus familiar with its day-to-day operations) was the person who suggested the new codename. Which is why it would be good to have some historical evidence on who comes up with these codenames.

Alien Bodies at a Mexican UAP Hearing

You've clearly never seen a picture of a duck penis. :p Hard-shelled eggs are meant to be deposited on something solid. Eggs laid in water, or not laid at all, have no reason to possess a hard shell.

It wasn't? 1) chosen for actual paper clips 2) chosen at random Except that nobody at all claims 2), and there's no evidence for it.

On David Grusch's "whistleblowing" and other apparent (but not quite) nothing burgers

I've reproduced the response at https://www.metabunk.org/threads/house-oversight-hearing-on-uaps-july-26-2023.13049/post-301969 . It reads to me that IC IG very politely explains that he's not in the business of answering random letters from congresspeople; that there are processes to be...

Reply: This response reads to me that IC IG very politely explains that he's not in the business of answering random letters from congresspeople; that there are processes to be followed that provide this information to Congress; and that, if he had answered their request, he wouldn't have...

On David Grusch's "whistleblowing" and other apparent (but not quite) nothing burgers

The Inspector General is only tasked to establish credibility, not truth, with regard to a whistleblower's claims. no, they determined Grusch's DoD IG submission to be urgent and credible. no, they were found credible yes. The IC IG is not tasked with that. Why would this be relevant? It...

    Operation Paperclip etymology

If by "sands at Normandy" you mean "port of Cherbourg", then yes. Most POL supplies went via coastal tankers and ship-to-shore pipelines at Port-en-Bessin and Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes during Overlord. The Mulberry harbours were devised to route supplies via the "sands at Normandy".
