Why are Starlink "Racetrack" Flares [Mostly] Reported from Planes?

OP being a little shy about which plane but the details are flying at 35000 ft for hours as we flew west over Canada. Time was 02:00Z Jan 29, seen while flying over Kenora Canada So I think POE309 most likely but maybe DAT514, of course have had cases that overlapped midnight where the day was...

UAP, UAV? spotted in Melbourne, Australia 24.01.24 - 8:45pm AEST

In the OP you say you believe the track on FR matches what you saw, is that still the case?

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

My understanding is the MX-20 does not have have an auto track mode that can 'lock on' to a visual target and track it as we see in videos from systems that do have this like the Raytheon ATFLIR.

I wonder if there is any formal guidance/documents with examples on interpreting footage from MWIR cameras and avoiding any common counterintuitive things that might lead to misinterpretation.

How to download a KML ADS-B file from FlightAware.com and use it in Sitrec

ADSB Exchange provides a reasonably long period (not sure how long exactly) historical tracking data which allows you to find a plane based on time/date/location and then you get the KML.

Robert Lazar's implied 1989 Gravity-B Wave Frequency Claim of 7.46 (Hz)

Pulsejets are a fairly simply made jet engine, I remember an episode of Scrapheap Challenge where a pulsejet was made and affixed to go kart. I believe also that the V1 flying bomb used in WW2 was propelled by a pulsejet.

    Searching and Downloading YouTube subtitles

There are some AI tools that will try to generate subtitles not sure if they are better than Youtubes own though.

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

We would need a date a bit more specific than "fall" for that and if we had a date then we would be also looking at historical weather conditions.

Retired F-18 Pilot Reports 5 UAPs Pacing His Aircraft Over Channel Islands 8-18-22

From the MSN article Denisa, 36, was working on a flight from Luton to Syzmany in Poland when as she flew across Europe she spotted a stunning view out of the window. She grabbed her phone and took a video - and thought nothing more of it. But, when she took a look back at what she had...

    The "Chandelier" UFO

It looks a bit lower quality than the ground footage, it looks to be taken from the air. It has diffraction spikes that match the physical design of the camera in the drone. It is sequenced after a ground shot of the drone flying into the sun and it shows the sun as a glare. Cameras like those...

How to see deployed Starlink "Racetrack" flares

A localish report, I looked in Stirec but did not see a train, perhaps the TLEs are not up to date enough if this was a recent launch? They say "about 25 of them" in another reply ~19:00 UTC (GMT) Location is approx 53.67682508458437, -2.982139100781373

Translating focal length to FOV only makes sense when you know the sensor size, pretty much all approximations you'll find on the internet are based on 35mm film/full frame digital sensor size.

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

Possibly too low res to work out when this reverse 'L' structure was around? I think that would give a closer date to the video date.

The closest imagery on Google Earth is as shown before that dated 22/5/2017 the 'tent' configuration matches the video ie a line of 1 then 2 then 3 from left to right. By 21/2/2018 the 'tent' configuration changes to just the set of 3 and seems to have stayed that way. In the imagery...
