Alleged Flight MH370 UFO Teleportation Videos [Hoax]

I think the full description does not match what we see in the video (my emphasis): But this does illustrate that people were immediately peddling fake videos on the theme of UFOs and mysterious portals being the cause of MH370’s vanishing.

Now wait for the pivot to "the thermal video is a deliberately bad hoax made to discredit the REAL satellite video".

Pretty shameful from Coulthart given that he fronted a serious investigative programme about this a few years ago, and knows very well what the facts are. (Edit: Ross Coulthart is an erstwhile Australian journalist turned UFO podcaster who retweeted the Reddit post of “MH370 being pulled...

Taking a step back, I'm very confused about how this whole abduction thing is even meant to fit into the known events of MH370's journey. It takes off as normal, completes one half of ATC handover, then goes dark and takes a U-turn back across the Malay peninsula. It stops responding to ATC...

Reddit has got to the point of constructing an elaborate system of coincidences and unfalsifiable hypotheses to explain away every flaw in the videos. Last I saw they were talking about some specific version of Citrix that renders the cursor on the server side, and maybe with the right...

Aside from the parallax issue, do the deltas in the coordinates imply a distance travelled by the aircraft of only 3.2km in sixty seconds? Because that is only 192km/h, which is extremely slow and possibly below the stall speed for a fully laden 777. Normal cruising speed is Mach 0.85 or...

That’s not what you’re looking for, though — the drifting cursor is moving with subpixel precision, not snapping from one position in the pixel grid to another. There’s no device or operating system which does this.

This one too, I think — to the right of bottom-center, starting around 00:16:

Due to distortions of the text overlay in one of the two stereo fields (and the near-identical noise), the consensus seems to be that it's a mono image that has had tranformations applied to mimic stereo. See the slant here, which is not consistent throughout the entire video: Particularly...

The way I do it is to go to the archived page on archive.org, start the video playing, and then open your browser's developer tools (the shortcut is often F12, or you can find it under "More Tools >" in Chrome). Look for a tab in the developer tools that says "Console". Go to the console and...

The cursor drift is visible in this version, so it's not caused by the stereoscopic manipulation. Full screen the video, go to 00:36 and put your mouse cursor over the onscreen cursor then watch closely what happens over the next 10 or so seconds. Source...

What I’m saying is that we agree the last contact was at 02:22 MYT, but I think you’ve calculated the Moon’s position at 02:22 IST, which is 2.5 hours after the aircraft was in that location. Either way, the moon was below the horizon when MH370 showed up.

If someone had the patience, they could look at the coordinates in the satellite video (which update as the mouse drags the image around), and try to figure out whether the distance travelled implied by the lat/long deltas corresponds to a plausible velocity for a 777.

I was just about to check if the moon was remotely possible as a candidate for the illumination, thanks for doing the work! Although I'm not sure the times are exactly right, the 02:22 disappearance time in UTC+8, but it looks like Heavens Above is showing times in UTC+05:30? This is the right...

Furthermore we can lookup satellite weather imagery from the period that the aircraft was in the vicinity of the co-ords in the video, and see that there was no cloud present. These are from Hirawami-8: The co-ordinates in the video put the plane at approximately (8.8, 93.4), pretty much...

Something I haven’t seen addressed is that the “portal” in the satellite video emits a bright flash of light in the visible spectrum, appearing white. But in the thermal video the “portal” is dark (appearing even colder than the sky). What explanation is offered for the broadband emission of...

Alleged Flight MH370 UFO Teleportation Videos [Hoax]

The “backlit” effect is because the pixels of those clouds are already fully saturated — they’re overexposed and clipping to full white. So applying a lightening effect over that area cannot lighten their main bulk any further, and only affects the fringes which are not already fully white. So...

Indeed NROL-33 was not launched until May 2014, per wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NRO_launches The Heavens Above website can be used to find the location of NROL-22 (aka USA 184) and rewind to find any passes on the date in question (MH370 takeoff was 16:42 UTC on March 7 2014, or...
