That’s not what you’re looking for, though — the drifting cursor is moving with subpixel precision, not snapping from one position in the pixel grid to another. There’s no device or operating system which does this.

What I’m saying is that we agree the last contact was at 02:22 MYT, but I think you’ve calculated the Moon’s position at 02:22 IST, which is 2.5 hours after the aircraft was in that location. Either way, the moon was below the horizon when MH370 showed up.

If someone had the patience, they could look at the coordinates in the satellite video (which update as the mouse drags the image around), and try to figure out whether the distance travelled implied by the lat/long deltas corresponds to a plausible velocity for a 777.
