The clouds jolt too, it's camera movement. Not a magical vertical translation of the object every time it starts rotating.

Here's the Gimbal footage stabilised on the object, and then overlaid with a crosshair on a static part of the overlay. I think that this helps to show how the entire image jolts around at the start of each rotation.
