    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

Ah true, if it's in relation to that claim then it certainly is "tatty". For me I just think it fits in with the quality of the rest of the photo (which isn't great). I read at some point a high resolution image will be released so perhaps more of these questions will be answered then.

Calvine UFO Photo - Reflection In Water Hypothesis

Nah, I said "leaning back" (as in "looking up"). Yeah, that's what I can't work out. Doesn't seem possible to me.

Calvine UFO Photo - Reflection In Water Hypothesis

Can someone explain how people are seeing a possible reflection? There's clouds, a fence, trees, and a plane and the photographer is looking up. How would that work?

    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

I think arrowheads are pretty much worldwide: iirc the oldest ones were found in Africa and Asia while Europeans have used bows and arrows for many thousands of years. PS I know you meant "Scotland". ;)

    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

It doesn't seem tattier than it should do to me, given the quality of the photo. Also pretty symmetrical:

    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

There's some very nice fence analysis on the link that Ravi posted. Steers more towards a standard farmer's fence (including highlighting what may be little tufts of animal fur caught on it). It is an odd angle to take a photo from. The fence the guys in the video identify looks to be about...

    Claim: Original Calvine UFO Photo

These guys here reckon they've found a candidate for the fence, about half a mile outside the village: Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgekUVzMSCc&t=2100s&ab_channel=DisclosureTeam The one in the photo looks to me more like the angled top part of a chain link fence though, like this...

    Help with Auguste Piccard translation

Also worth stressing that Piccard didn't actually say this, they are the words of the writer of the article.

Discovery Channel's "Contact: Declassified Breakthrough" was debunked 2.5 years ago

Looks like The History Channel's 'The Proof is Out There' recently featured the Chilean case among it's "Top 5 UFO Sightings" (first one): Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwZZd2u9Pm4 Their conclusion? "No one can identify what the Chilean navy caught on video so we're going to call...

9/11 Sounds of Explosions Not being Recorded

Do you mean that it shows that a loud noise can occur without being picked up by a microphone? He wasn't hearing an explosion, was he?

9/11 Sounds of Explosions Not being Recorded

Watching that clip again I think I might have to disagree with my own sentence of two years ago: That he thinks he's seeing an explosion isn't clear either - all that's clear is that "explosion" is the word he used to describe seeing the tower coming down. I imagine his brain was going a mile...

Star-Shaped UFO discussed by Jacques Vallee and Garry Nolan

Video here: Source: https://youtu.be/4NBZeljMpIU?t=1348 I wonder why they waited till they got home to see what they'd photographed? And why they only took one picture for something so exciting? Seems a bit of a tall tale to me.

Veracruz Sphere "On Top of a Tree"

I think y'all know it but just in case not: a fraccionamiento is like a neigbourhood so will encompass quite a lot of streets (translates as something like "division"). Probably this whole area in red:

Earth Curvature Simulation by Walter Bislins

Ah, no - to clarify: "special right triangles" is what they're called in America (and normal right-angled triangles are just called "right triangles"). It's all equal rights these days. ;)

Earth Curvature Simulation by Walter Bislins

In British English they're called "special right-angled triangles" - and more specifically "angle-based" (as opposed to "side-based"). In American English all right-angled triangles are called "right triangles".

    When Conspiracists Psychoanalyze

Your take was what one would get from reading in between the lines of what I wrote (there's lots implied in that anecdote, but obviously no need to spell it all out). Agreed. :)

    When Conspiracists Psychoanalyze

An anecdote that I consider one of the more interesting tidbits I've come across in this area: I once asked a conspiracy theorist who seemed to believe everything was a false flag/media lie if there were any events he considered had actually happened. After careful consideration he told me the...
