    Astronomer Marian Rudnyk UFO convert

His YT channel is called "NASA Astronomer". How hilarious do you want it? I distrust anything this person says, sorry that is just my gut feeling.

    Astronomer Marian Rudnyk UFO convert

Exactly. "Hey, I found images that would change everything we know about us humans and space! Ok, lets make sure to not take any pictures of it and the canisters, because why would I, they will believe me, for sure".

"Canisters hidden in the space under the floor". Yeah right. This smells like horse manure.

    The Steven Greenstreet UFO ...

I want to take it even a step further. All these cases are Un-closable Cases, unless we have physical evidence (hardware). Pictures and video and sensor data just don't cut it. So evidently, if there IS no hardware proof (likely), there is no way to prove or to solve a case.

Havana Syndrome: "Sonic Attacks" at the US Embassy in Cuba - Mass Hysteria?

Yeah.. It is however this header "Havana Syndrome could be caused by pulsed energy devices – US expert report" that people remember, and then translated quickly to "the enemy is targeting our embassies!1!!".

Help to debunk: 737 flies backward

I believe the cause is mainly the camera's "corrective" processing ability. Here in this thread on reddit, "antiqua_lumina" made a video of some balloons, floating steadily, while moving the camera..

    Calculating and visualizing Gimbal angles.

Agreed. Trust is also a very (imo) dangerous thing, specially in the science/engineering field. That's why I like to compare ufology with religion. They both are heavily based on trust and believing it must be out of this world (or in religious terms: above this world).

    Calculating and visualizing Gimbal angles.

The point I am trying to make is that faithful ufo believing persons do not listen to arguments, unless it is communicated by somebody from "their side". Thus, it does not matter how well we debunk stuff, they will not agree, unless Luis, or Chris or other talking ufo heads "blesses it". Like I...

    Calculating and visualizing Gimbal angles.

The overall response on r/UFOs is "well, okay it does not rotate.. but still it is an ufo!" It is rather funny that because now Letho gives this statement, all of a sudden the whole sub agrees. Like "well, Mick is always wrong of course, but Chris is "with us", so ok now we will agree". Again, I...

You still read it and commented..

Claim: sticker "glitched" in real life. Fake video or could have other explanation?

On the other hand, it would not be too difficult of a task to rotoscope the white piece in there for these small amount of frames we have.

    Okay, did not know that.

University of Michigan offers a 2 week "Science" UFO course

I think that university is just trying to join the bandwagon and make some extra cash this way.

Claim: There is no 97% climate consensus

I always hate it when graphs are used (in media) that have no error bar or even a statement of uncertainty. It happens more often then not, and apparently nobody cares (not even the journalists etc). But agreeing datasets taken using completely different methods (satellites, probes etc), is very...

Circular objects on Google Earth (2002)

:) Thanks for the effort, however, I am not sure if it gives some clues.. The type of cam/lens used and the distances involved do matter, and of course a flat glass plane with a waterdrop stuck to it would be an idea. I will try it myself, if I can find time... (I am renovating my floor as we...

Can you do the same ones, but then with a small(er) aperture setting?

Circular objects on Google Earth (2002)

I vote water droplet on the window in front of the aerial camera. The droplet has the same general shape/colours on all the images, because the selection is made from a local area on Google maps, and thus can be from the same series (from the flight).

    COVID-19 Coronavirus current events

Agreed. Here the number per day is also ridiculously high, and as our test service is overloaded, many don't even test anymore. So I guess the main effect is that the ones that still gets sick (not just pos tested) are not ending up in the hospital, but get cold/flu symptoms and that's it.

    COVID-19 Coronavirus current events

Agreed, you got me there. It is highly anecdotal, but you brought good links to counter it so thanks for that!
