    Explained: The Navy UFO Videos

I wish I knew more about radar and possible anomalies that might occur during normal operation. Because the only way that they can claim it was dropping at that rate, is by using radar data. And we all know that single source data is somewhat problematic. So either there is more info or even...

Mexican Air Force UFO Video? [Oil Rigs]

Correct. The "rinse and repeat" is happening constantly. I suspect that the posters are aware of debunks, but post it anyway as they know most ufo enthousiasts are lazy and don't research. Selffulfilling prophecy.

Isolation: How will you pass the time?

I have to use a mask in my work every day. I am an engineer and quite hands on as well. I can tell you that you start to hate this mask after a 9 hour shift. At least, I do.

Isolation: How will you pass the time?

@Oystein, I can share your frustration. Being a Dutchie, we have similar things as you mentioned. It is getting quite hard to do things right. And then, there is the "covid passport" coming.. Oh boy.

USS Omaha "Transmedium" Sphere Descending To the Sea

Agreed, it is for sure not helping if it rains or other obstructing things occur.

USS Omaha "Transmedium" Sphere Descending To the Sea

I replied with this info a while back in this thread: for Saphire II it is 20km. I find it strange it is not able to find the range in said video..

CBS 60 Minutes Segment on UAPs

I don't understand why this show is considered so extremely important. It is entertainment, driven by advertisement. Now someone please explain to me why they would be reporting anything to SOLVE things? Of course that is never the goal of a news outlet that wants to earn more money.

USS Omaha "Transmedium" Sphere Descending To the Sea

I am getting confused by mixing in of other stuff. Can we please remain to the topic (video of 'ball entering water') in this sub?

USS Omaha "Transmedium" Sphere Descending To the Sea

What is with this laser range finder data I wonder, why is it not finding any return? Could that be because it was out of range? EDIT/Add The specification of the maximum distance the laser range finder of the SAFIREII can measure is 20 km. Source...

1971 Lake Cote / Lago de Cote UFO Aerial Photo

I went over the manual of the Zeiss camera a couple of times already and I cannot find anything in the design that possibly might show this artefact in any optical sense. No tilting or panning going on. It is a very straight forward design, inherent to Zeiss. A possible window in front of this...

1971 Lake Cote / Lago de Cote UFO Aerial Photo

Another theory is optical coating delamination. For instance the AR coating on the glass lenses. But that we would see in every frame, not just this one, and it would appear blurry and unsharp. So this theory is valid, but unlikely.

Flat Earth Claim: "The Greatest Laser Experiment In History" - FECORE

Lol. True, of course I would not recommend them to use them (or anyone). @Mick, thanks, interesting read!

Flat Earth Claim: "The Greatest Laser Experiment In History" - FECORE

Thanks Mick, indeed this is of course completely true (that refraction screws it up). I was too focussed on the technical optical/hardware part, should have mentioned the refraction. To get around the refraction problem, you would need to use wavelengths that are less affected by refraction...

To me it looks a bit like a dry mark.

1971 Lake Cote / Lago de Cote UFO Aerial Photo

FYI, the focus depth of a camera is to a large degree determined by the F-number of the lens. This means, the more you reduce the aperture of the camera (iris), the sharper everything becomes (the hyperfocal distance becomes smaller). If you do this to the extreme, you end up with a pin-hole...

Flat Earth Claim: "The Greatest Laser Experiment In History" - FECORE

I am thinking about a possible way of trying do this laser experiment correctly. I think the aim is to use large size diameter optics, and create a kind of auto-collimation setup. This setup involves 2 (or only 1) telescopes aimed and aligned with respect to each other , at x meter height. Let's...

Explained: Odd Looking Bidens/Carters Photo - Not Fake, Just Perspective

I think it also does not help that clearly the (elderly) lady is not the largest person you will ever meet. And likely also the chairs are not gigantic. This all ads to the effect.

"Pyramid" UFOs in Night Vision Footage are Bokeh

Interestingly, the mystery wire podcast from 4/30 with Jeremy et al, is bashing MW (and us here in general) for being correct? Very nice!
