While having breakfast in the garden this morning I spotted a plane leaving a very clear distrail. This was a Boeing 747, BA208 from Miami on approach to Heathrow.
Watching over the next few minutes there was a succession of planes cutting through the thin layer of clouds. From the altitude...
OK, here we are. It looks like there was at least one voice of reason, in Dr Goetz.

They actually use WITWATS as a reference!
Not to mention these great sources of evidence.
Edit: As far as I can see this was a meeting of the city's "Sustainability Advisory Board": http://www.fortlauderdale.gov/documents/sab/index.htm

I don't think I've ever had a comment accepted by the "moderator" at geoengineeringwatch. If you don't swallow what they say unquestioningly then they don't want to know.
If the real time was 11:13am (UTC+10) then that is 1:13am. There were three planes at cruising height to the south of Melbourne at that time. (Images from FR24 merged to show all three flight numbers)

It would be interesting to do the same thing here. I think it would be closer to 700 than 70!
This was Saturday morning, facing roughly northwest (first pic) and east.
And a hazy Saturday afternoon. (Spot the interested spectator at a friend's barbecue...)
Those look like aerodynamic contrails. They have that kind of "flat" look to them.
Edit to add, I have noticed the "cumulus" type of contrails before. I posted a photo in the pictures thread back in December...
Yes, a Tornado briefly showed up on Planefinder.net (stationary) but with no tracking info, so that possibly backs up what Jackie said in the quote above about seeing a Tornado.
Although there's no other reference point, I would say that photo was taken looking in a roughly southerly direction, as the shadowed (ie northerly) sides of the clouds are facing the photographer (and the sun itself appears to be not far off the top edge of the photo). That fits with the photo...
