Contrails versus humidity: a timelapse project

Yes I wondered about that. Looking on Planefinder there was a plane at 40,000ft in the right location but the time looks to be a couple of minutes too late. I suppose it is possible that the time on the camera was slightly out. The previous flight along a similar track was this one at about...

Contrails versus humidity: a timelapse project

May 19: some nice rainbows to begin with :) The contrail visible at about 07:15 (06:15Z) is a bit of a puzzle.

Contrails versus humidity: a timelapse project

Just going to upload the videos and charts here and do the contrail count afterwards in an edit. I'm also making the GIFs a bit slower, to make them easier to follow. May 14:

Debunked: Kylie Jenner's Chemtrail Meme Tweet

Exactly. Chemtrail believers post photos of "blue sky days" as some sort of wonderful rare occurrence, but they most likely have just as much plane exhaust in them as the heaviest persistent contrail day.

Claim: Robert Parry: Australian 60 Minutes fudged evidence to pin blame on Russia

The banner which was torn does not match the graphic: note that the phone numbers are different. Bogdan Auto has numerous locations across Ukraine. The phone number on the billboard is (0642) 31-10-16. Googling that phone number brings up this address on the Bogdan Autocentres website...

Debunked: Kylie Jenner's Chemtrail Meme Tweet

It appears that the tweet is being met with a mixture of ridicule and amusement in most quarters... http://www.vh1.com/news/21263/kylie-jenner-confused-airplanes-chemtrails/ (snip)

    Persistent Spreading Contrail

And yes, spreading contrails can cast shadows. They are just clouds: there is nothing special about contrails. Anything a cirrus cloud can do, so can a contrail. As to how long they can last, one study which deliberately created distinctive contrails by flying in circles found the cloud they...

Claim: Robert Parry: Australian 60 Minutes fudged evidence to pin blame on Russia

I haven't looked into these claims in detail but I can easily believe that those screenshots show exactly the same place. A lot of people get confused by the massive effect that changes in camera position and, especially, focal length, can have in the appearance of a scene. For example, these...

High barium levels in blood? ( Mohave, AZ?)

8.5 micrograms per litre is 8.5 parts per billion, or 0.0085 parts per million. That is an incredibly small amount. The regulations for UK mineral waters, for instance, stipulate a maximum content of 200 micrograms per litre. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2007/2785/pdfs/uksi_20072785_en.pdf

High barium levels in blood? ( Mohave, AZ?)

Q: What does elevated mean? A: Any amount above the median (average) amount will be reported as elevated. This is important, as it means that BY DEFINITION 50% of the population will be reported as having "elevated levels" of barium (or anything else) on these tests. Even if all of the levels...

High barium levels in blood? ( Mohave, AZ?)

So the aluminium figures for both are barely above the effective detection limit. As always you have to wonder whether these people are honestly mistaken or actively lying. The fact that, as @Leifer points out, they have deliberately hidden the disclaimer about possible causes of elevated...

The NERC funded MST Radar facility in Wales is not a HAARP installation

Harry thinks they need HAARP and NEXRAD to make it rain in Wales? As someone who spent many soggy family holidays in Wales in the 1980s, I find that pretty funny.

Debunked: Crime Scene Photos "Prove" Sandy Hook was a Hoax

I'm sure he doesn't, but here's some primary evidence that it's nonsense. From here: http://www.maine.gov/dacf/php/integrated_pest_management/school/pest-solutions/documents/me-school-ipm-factsheet_rodents_1-14.pdf Last time I checked, Maine was "on this earth"... just about.
