Photos of Clouds and Skies (That you took yourself)

A small but vivid sun dog in an old contrail, on the first really frosty morning of the autumn (snapped one-handed while cycling!) (Also Nibiru hiding in the trees ;) )

Geoengineering illustration [From New Scientist, 2009]

Yes, scientists discussing geongineering is taken as proof, because it's scientists talking about it. But the part where scientists are talking about it being only a future possibility is ignored, because all scientists are paid to lie!

How 'alive' is the topic of chemtrails nowadays?

Yes, Geoengineering Watch posts a huge amount of stuff on Facebook, and it is extremely strictly policed. Any comment that is anything less than 100% fawning is swiftly deleted. There's no way that Dane Wigington can believe what he says any more, if he ever did. He is just going through the...

Very good question asked by Madison Star Moon

On the subject of "very good questions"... “If this is solar radiation management,” she said, “why are they spraying at night?” http://nooganomics.com/2014/11/u-s-jets-rake-tennessees-4-cities-anecdotal-evidence-program-working/

Trippy pic.....digital artifact ? [Rolling Shutter]

It's similar to the reason that photo-finish cameras in sports produce such distorted images: Usain Bolt wasn't really wearing a clown shoe at the London Olympics. His foot appears distorted because the camera is capturing a tiny slice of the image (the finish line) over time. If you look at...

    "Pyramid Power Plant" Debunked

What's with the "ionosphere" label? Just how high is this pyramid??

Advocating violence against "Chemtrail" planes, pilots, scientists, and debunkers

It was just an ill-advised attempt at sarcasm after all.

Advocating violence against "Chemtrail" planes, pilots, scientists, and debunkers

In this case, this person seems not to be a believer after all. Poe's Law in action, though: you can't satirise extremists, because there's always somebody who is genuinely more extreme!

    90 Degree plane trail?

Now that's an answer! Nice work.

Photos of Clouds and Skies (That you took yourself)

And here's what a difference a day makes: A cold front pushed through overnight (after what was, incidentally, the UK's warmest ever Halloween, with temperatures reaching 24C/75F in London!). You can see the front moving away on the horizon, but overhead is very dry air (this chart is for...

Photos of Planes and Contrails (That you took yourself)

On the flightradar24 you can set up filters from the menu at the left of the map screen. If you're looking for a contrail, set an altitude filter, say, above 28000ft, which removes the local low-altitude clutter from the screen. Then you can select "playback" and plug in the date and time (it...

Photos of Planes and Contrails (That you took yourself)

And here's one I snapped on my lunch break. That's Qantas QF9 from Dubai, descending to Heathrow. About 4,000ft up in that photo.

Photos of Planes and Contrails (That you took yourself)

Melbourne is 11 hours ahead of GMT at the moment, so that first shot (second on the post) was at 03:05 on October 30. Which way were you facing in those shots, @derwoodii - was that still over the bay as well? If so it was probably QF64 from Jo'burg to Sydney: The later shot, 16:30 your...

    90 Degree plane trail?

If you have two straight lines crossing each other, they are going to make some kind of angle. And, as your two photos prove, they didn't make a 90 degree angle, they just appeared that way from a certain perspective. I think @Trailspotter has done a pretty thorough job of explaining these...

Photos of Clouds and Skies (That you took yourself)

The sky looking east this morning from Hampshire, about an hour ago (7.45am). Straight out of an apocalyptic Facebook post! Anyone who believes in "chemtrails" would have been having kittens... A couple of visual aids to explain: First of all the trusty humidity map, showing pretty well...

Cloud Seeding (Weather Modification) on the Dick Van Dyke Show, 1965

The trouble is, how do you tell? If you seed a cloud and it rains X inches at place Y, how do you know what it would have done if you hadn't seeded it? The weather is chaotic, so you can never have two identical cloud set-ups, where you can run one as a "control". See the problem?

Debunked: Anatomical impossibility of Jeff Bauman photos

How does that affect the width of the pelvis in any way? Please, Jon, this issue has been just about as thoroughly debunked as it is possible to be. It doesn't matter which way your legs are pointing, your hips are never going to be less than two head widths apart, barring a serious case of...

    Some depopulation quotes to debunk?

This is the only reference to Brower in the bibliography of that book: Searching for key words from that quote in "The Coercive Utopians" suggests it is not from that.

    Looking for a map

This image shows the mean RHi (top) and the mean standard deviation of RHi (bottom) at 250mb (about 34,000ft) The RHi tends to be higher around the equator, but it is more variable across the southern latitudes and (especially) the North Atlantic. Source...

    Looking for a map

Was this the thread? Some maps of RHi in here: https://www.metabunk.org/threads/relative-humidity-difference-between-persistent-and-non-persistent-contrails.278/ They seem to be derived from the ERA-INTERIM data but the link given requires a login.
