    Plane with Vertical Black Stripes

He said it went slightly above. If it was flight US610 then a United flight heading in the opposite direction passed 1,000 feet above it and not far to the side. I don't see how it could be misinterpreted as black and white stripes though. Also the horizontal separation was no less than...

    Plane with Vertical Black Stripes

If he did travel on Aug 15 from SFO then it would probably have been this flight. A US Airways/ American Airlines codeshare, flight 610. (Assuming it runs every Saturday: I just searched for the following Saturday)

    Plane with Vertical Black Stripes

Here is the airline schedule out of Redding. The only flights appear to be to San Francsico, so a flight to Phoenix would involve a change there. It looks like there was no service on Saturday 15. http://www.ci.redding.ca.us/transeng/airports/airline_schedule.htm It's probably more likely...

Solved: Strange Beam of Light over Mayan Temple and Florida [Lightning + Rolling Shutter Artifact]

Is this the same effect on a picture of the Tianjin explosion site? It doesn't look as sharply defined as the others.

Photos of Clouds and Skies (That you took yourself)

What's that crazy pilot doing? He's descending straight towards that mountain! ;) Edit: Just looked up the flight. As I suspected, it's a 747. (2:50pm Alberta time is 8:50pm UTC)

Photos of Planes and Contrails (That you took yourself)

Contrail shadow over Hampshire this morning. It might not be obvious because of the perspective but the shadow is from the longer leg of the "X". And looking further to the right. The shadow almost looks like a distrail here. A couple of minutes later. The shadow is parallel with and...

Photos of Planes and Contrails (That you took yourself)

I think they are natural. Natural cirrus often forms roughly parallel bands, which appear to converge towards the horizon due to perspective.

The NERC funded MST Radar facility in Wales is not a HAARP installation

Just to add a bit of background to these storms, they are a regular feature of UK weather. It has a long-established name, "Spanish plume": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_plume Essentially, warm, humid air from Spain gets drawn up towards the UK by low pressure over the Bay of Biscay...

    Debunked: 'Anonymous' exposing chemtrails

The list of files (partially visible in this image, for instance) includes files seemingly related to the Global Hawk 872 drone. I haven't taken the risk of clicking to download dodgy zipped files from unknown sources. Do you know what those relate to?

Debunked: J. Marvin Herndon's "Geoengineering" Articles in Current Science (India) and IJERPH

Herndon also links to this flawed HEPA air filter analysis: http://losangelesskywatch.org/lab-test-results This analysis takes the percentages of metals in the collected particulate matter and then compares them to maximum containment limits in drinking water (actually, MCL values for water...

Debunked: J. Marvin Herndon's "Geoengineering" Articles in Current Science (India) and IJERPH

In what world are these element ratios even remotely similar??? Bear in mind that the horizontal axis on the chart has a logarithmic scale - a deliberate attempt to make the ratios seem more similar. But even with the log scale, the ratios are wildly different. For instance, just eyeballing...

Help to ID a plane? [N90 - FAA Flight Inspection Aircraft]

Yes it is a useful tool for that. It can take some getting used to as often the planes are much further away than you think! Mick has some graphics illustrating it, but basically even a plane 10 miles away will look pretty high in the sky. Contrails you see above rooftops might be 30 miles away...

Help to ID a plane? [N90 - FAA Flight Inspection Aircraft]

According to this link, N90 is part of the FAA fleet assigned to "Flight Inspection", but I don't know what that would entail? http://www.aerovintage.com/current.htm Edit: Found this link: http://www.507arw.afrc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123345918 4/25/2013 - TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --...

Help to ID a plane? [N90 - FAA Flight Inspection Aircraft]

This definitely looks like the same track, but with the detail of the landings missing. is this the plane? The engines aren't mounted on the tail though.

Help to ID a plane? [N90 - FAA Flight Inspection Aircraft]

Is this the same plane, on Planefinder? The track looks similar but not identical, and the plane type shows up as different. Registration N90 is owned by the FAA: http://uk.flightaware.com/resources/registration/N90
