Operation Clarity: The History of Chemtrails

Dane wrote this article in August 2007, which I think is when he first went public, but it looks like he began his "research" a few years before that - he built his new home with solar panels in 2001. http://arizonaskywatch.com/article/articles/Diminished Solar Capacities.pdf

    Galvanic cell experiment by Dutchsinse

What a shame Dutch won't be sharing any of his future brain waves with us. We could have had lampshades with built-in solar panels so that you could power your house simply by turning on the light switch. Or maybe a kettle that runs itself by harnessing steam power as it boils. The possibilities...

    Pre 1995 Persistent Contrail Archive

This one is doing the rounds on Facebook as proof of a conspiracy. Vatican, NWO, illuminati, don'tcha know.

Do contrails add water to the atmosphere over time?

Agreed. I didn't mean to imply that the water produced by aircraft just hangs around in the atmosphere.

Do contrails add water to the atmosphere over time?

I found this study which suggests that the water vapour content of the atmosphere is increasing, but that increase is due to the warming of the atmosphere. Warmer air can hold more water vapour. https://www-pls.llnl.gov/?url=science_and_technology-earth_sciences-moisture “When you heat the...

Do contrails add water to the atmosphere over time?

It's important to remember that almost all of the water in long contrails like that is water that was already in the atmosphere, and is condensing/freezing onto the exhaust trail. It's like when you get a cold beer out of the fridge and put it outside on a humid day, you get water condensing...

Conrad Michael's $10,000 reward to prove him wrong about contrails.

If you look closely at the spout of the kettle you will probably see that right above the spout you don't see any "steam". That's the water vapour. You only see what we call steam once the vapour begins to condense into tiny droplets. The same principle applies to contrails, where you don't...

Conrad Michael's $10,000 reward to prove him wrong about contrails.

OK, on watching the video again, the temperatures weren't as low as I said, although it is hard to see as he deliberately pans the camera down quickly and often avoids showing the temperature column. His whole video, though, is based on the misconception that a single atmospheric sounding...

The Appleman chart extended to the Earth's surface is from http://science-edu.larc.nasa.gov/contrail-edu/resources-activities-appleman_student.php Appleman's original paper is not available in full online as far as I know. The abstract and opening page is here...

Debunked: Pilots Doctors and Scientists tell Truth about Chemtrails

Sorry about that. When you've worked in a field for years you tend not to even notice that words you see as plain English are actually jargon! Metric and SI aren't strictly interchangeable, but close enough for most purposes.

Conrad Michael's $10,000 reward to prove him wrong about contrails.

Ok well his statement at 4:15 is easily refuted. He says you need all three parameters: 1) altitude above 30,000 feet 2) temperature below -40°C 3) humidity above 100% RHi, which he equates to 60% RHw. The Appleman chart extended to ground level clearly shows that persistent contrails can and...

Conrad Michael's $10,000 reward to prove him wrong about contrails.

Well I'm up to 2:41 and he's already made a major blunder. He says "the process by which a contrail is formed is sublimation. The process by which a persistent contrail is formed is the opposite: desublimation." Totally incorrect. Sublimation refers to a solid turning directly into a gas, eg...

Debunked: UFO over Loch Ness [Reflection in Dual Pane Window]

This is one of those cases where we know the location and we know pretty well for certain that the location is still as it was when the photo was taken. So all it needs is an enterprising journalist to go and replicate the photo.

Debunked: Pilots Doctors and Scientists tell Truth about Chemtrails

Yes, PM is nothing to do with pm. Confusing, but to keep these units in order, they go down in factors of 1,000: 1 metre = 1000 millimetres (mm) 1 millimetre = 1000 micrometres (µm) 1 micrometre = 1000 nanometres (nm) 1 nanometre = 1000 picometres (pm). So the atomic diameter (twice the atomic...

    Monetizing Metabunk?

I don't know about you, but I think one of the "selling points" of Metabunk is that it is independent, not-for-profit and not accountable to advertisers. "Monetising" is really not a good idea. Metabunk debunkings have found their way into the media quite well without any money changing hands...
