Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

-That is not "auto-adjustment" -Exposure is changing not contrast. The operator is making manual adjustments to exposure in infra-red.

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

If you believe that the recently posted uninformed opinions, arguments from incredulity, and intuitions are leading to facts, yes. But they're not. This thread is simply getting spammed with nonsense.

You have asserted, not shown evidence. In that GIF, this is what I see: -No sign of translucency or transparency. -Background objects showing through gaps.

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

You do understand that this is an infrared camera? Not a visible light camera.

Let's sort things out. -The tethered flag in the OP video flaps because... The banner hanging below the balloon cluster in this video... Note that it flaps slightly when it is moving through the wind. For the same reason as the tethered flag. At that time, the banner is flapping But...

Luis Elizondo's Claims of Coming UFO Disclosure

To clarify, let's straighten out who said what: -Elizondo: "I think the same time next year we're going to have a fundamentally different conversation..." -Robert Sheaffer: My prediction is, at that time [2019] the conversation will still be same old, same old. Both predictions were made in...

    The "Chandelier" UFO

Does destructive interference play a role?

    The "Chandelier" UFO

Would rotating either one of these by 45 degrees make this a better match?

    The "Chandelier" UFO

Yes, I missed something rather obvious.

    The "Chandelier" UFO

So let me understand... There is a diffraction effect caused by light passing the edges of the square aperture. There is then constructive interference involving the diffraction effects caused by the spider and the square aperture. What would the diffraction pattern of the square aperture...

Why are Starlink "Racetrack" Flares [Mostly] Reported from Planes?

Two things to unpack: In other words they don't look like this. The word still hasn't gotten out that the classic Starlink train is evanescent. Only looks like this for a short time just after deployment. I'm not certain what this means but I suspect it's the noted optical illusion that...

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

Also notice how "static" the balloons are. Even the banner is not rustling. The banner only shows some movement while the whole rig is ascending or descending and thus moving through the wind. Source: https://youtu.be/upVY1DP6IR0?si=q2ugcUMvVxqp-489&t=22 Round the world hot air balloon...

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

Agree. It's a long focal length lens. Anything very close to the lens would not be visible at all. It would degrade the brightness and contrast. But that's a technicality.

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

That's something I remember from high school physics - a balloon in the wind is being acted on by the same force across the entire surface. It won't rustle due to wind resistance, because there ain't no wind resistance. It seems to be one of those rather obvious things that people have a problem...

Jellyfish UFO from TMZ's 'UFO Revolution'

It's a real video, as in it was really taken by a drone operated by the U.S. military. Reading that as the object is really something mysterious/otherworldly is forced at best.

One thing to add. Mylar is a clear plastic. It's not foil. Ack-choo-lee "Mylar" is presently a registered trademark of the DuPont Teijin Corporation. There are other clear plastics.

    Reflection or something else ?

The word Classic (or whatever) is still faintly visible. The guy who posted the photo says the camera is behind a window. I'm back to speculating that some light source external to the room (Maybe car headlights?) illuminated something on the camera or near the camera. Or it's a light...

    Reflection or something else ?

In the comments section. This is the guy who originally posted Peter "**The word 'classic' is indeed a reflection in the window (the camera is behind the window in the dormer). The camera takes a photo every 5 seconds, so it must have come and gone very quickly. No other idea.**"

    Reflection or something else ?

My version of the writing Besides Glassi or Classi I can read the letters as CASSI or GASSI or ACASSI or AGASSI or... It might all be APPLESAUCE.

    Reflection or something else ?

Maybe not a double paned window. This could be an internal reflection in the lens cover? The writing seems to be curved. Could it be a logo on the circular bit around the lens? Best evidence of this would be a photo of the security cam. Or just tell us the make and model.
