    Metabunk Flat Earth Route Simulator

Developer tools gives me the same output as you show in your window. Incognito window reveals the full text (can't scroll to the bottom in normal window). Both still not quite working though. Lines disappear and it's hard to find the ends. (Running Windows 10 on an i3 Acer s3.)

Is it possible that it's a PC-chrome thing? Still doesn't seem to work on mine.

Maybe it did a dog leg to the south of India and then over the middle east to England. ;)

Flat Earth Theory Debunked by Short Flights (QF27 & QF28) From Australia to South America

First non-stop flight from Australia to London landed this morning, covering 9000 miles in just over 17 hours. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-43530332 Big distance, though the incompatibility with the flat earth model isn't as great as those flights that are purely in the southern...

    Metabunk Flat Earth Route Simulator

Tried for first time today, using Chrome, but doesn't seem to work. Only things that responds to clicking was the sphere in the lower right, which will turn, and move up and down with arrow keys (couldn't scroll the text down, for example).

    Debunked: Cooper/Copper family ghost photo

C'mon, Deirdre, put us out of our misery. Most of that $9 goes to Amazon anyway. And we all know what they use it to fund. ;)

Not only replying, but replying word for word with the same comment (with slight addition to the one here). So which link that his older brother sent him was he "floored" by? You know, it's like I said way back in comment #18: the whole thing really seems like an artist who works with digital...

    Debunked: Cooper/Copper family ghost photo

Why will his photos go viral now, if they haven't in the 20 months since he uploaded the 'book'?

    Debunked: Cooper/Copper family ghost photo

Ay, but this is Metabunk. Skipping to the end and having it all explained is why we're here. ;) On his website, he seems to be leaving it more open-ended: Urban Legend: The True Story of the Cooper Family Falling Body Photo is available now at the iTunes bookstore as a full-featured...

    Debunked: Cooper/Copper family ghost photo

Sorry, I don't find it clear what this refers to. Seems to be showing that the guy who put the ebook on Amazon also used to make artworks that involved creating digital collages/montages from photos. What's the reference to Robert C? Are you proposing that Richard G. Ramsdell is @Robert C?

    Debunked: Cooper/Copper family ghost photo

I suppose "Kindle book" is an accurate description of what it is, but I'd be very careful about attritibuting any special significance to any of his claims just 'cos it's on Amazon and purports to be a "book". It's a poorly formatted self-published ebook: the sort of thing anybody could knock...

    How Fake News Goes Viral

There is also "selective news", which is maybe what @Birkenhead was suggesting - for example, "scientists say flu could kill between 100 and 10 million people" and headline becomes "Up to 10 million may die!" And then there was plain old simple "fakery", such as The National Enquirer or The...

Flat Earth Theory Debunked by Short Flights (QF27 & QF28) From Australia to South America

That makes sense. The list above I verified on flightbooking websites, so they're currently in operation. Kiwi.com is probably one of the best places for finding southern hemisphere flights, as you can draw circles around large areas and search expressly for direct flights between all places...

Flat Earth Theory Debunked by Short Flights (QF27 & QF28) From Australia to South America

This map appears to show several direct transoceanic southern hemisphere flights that I wasn't aware of, including: Singapore-Johannesburg Singapore-Mauritius Mauritius-Hong Kong Mauritius-Chengdu Mauritius-Ghuangzhou Mauritius-Shanghai Hong Kong-Johannesburg There's also a flight on the map...

Why are people called conspiracy theorists?

If I think of conspiracy theorists I've met, I don't necessarily think of them as paranoid and delusional, rather ill-informed and gullible - in much the same way many of my very lovely New Age friends are. It doesn't stop them being nice and funny and good company - or, indeed, in being smart...

Measuring the Curvature of the Horizon with a Level

Had another go at photographing the curve of the horizon today, with this setup from about 300 feet above sea level: The results, to quote Professor Denzil Dexter, were disappointing: 1. Above centre of frame 2. Very slightly above centre of frame 3. Below centre of frame...
