This looks like a neat tool. I don't know who made it or how accurate it is, but it says the distance from Australia to New Zealand on a flat Earth would be 3526 miles, compared to 1309 miles on a globe.

So I compared that to the length of the Tasman Global Access (TGA) Cable, which is 2288 km or 1422 miles. The cable would be way too short for a flat Earth.
