It was later posted to r/ufos

I've attached a downloaded version here

I've not had time to look into it much but it seems a fun test, the building should be easy to find, but I can't find it it says 300 something on it, there's a 300 Main street in Winnipeg but with a brief look I couldn't correlate it, and no exact time is given, but I took a few mins to look at a ADSB Exchange data for a few hours before the video was posted for helo activity over Winnipeg but couldn't find it either.

I'm sure someone else will have more time and better skills.

This is the Winnepeg Police Helicopter C-GAOL, but I don't think it broadcasts its position over ADSB. But funnily enough, it is a 'black helicopter' - which are commonly seen near genuine UAP events. /s

Police have long used helicopters to search for things like escaping suspects. Adding a drone to their search capabilities should double their results without doubling their costs.

Am I missing something? I see a distant fixed wing aircraft moving along the line of sight of the camera, then banking to the right and climbing; and a nearby helicopter. Is there something else I'm not seeing?

Or are people seeing the distant aircraft as being at the same distance as the helicopter and seeing them as interacting? Like the helicopter's spotlight shining "on" the distant aircraft.

In other words, is this an accidental forced perspective video?

That's what I was trying to check, I was hoping to use the ADS-B from the helicopter to get and exact time to see what traffic was in LOS.

I don't see a fixed wing aircraft, although I can see why someone would . I see the two flashing lights as being something small that is stationary close to the camera (a quadcopter drone) and at a lower altitude than the helicopter. As the helicopter circles around the drone then moves off to the right to look at the area that is being illuminated by the searchlight.
