They 'vent' ...mostly OUT after engine shut-down, ON the ground....AFTER a flight. They drip stuff, so when a pilot does a "walk-around", he/she doesn't walk directly beneath, lest he/she get oil on his/her uniform shirt.
(The dry cleaning expenses are high enough, already!!).
is it a bit like the overflow tube on your car's radiator bottle?
I know my old ZX had one. there was a long plastic tube attached to the outlet pipe at the top that just poked downwards so any excess would just drain out the bottom of the car.
Now that I'm taking a second look at it, it's not the exact photo, Yours is from a lower angle, but all the stains on the tanks, the numbers and painting on the wall line up, I think we have the same plane.

According to the Flickr page it's taken from:
This highly unusual cloud formation was likely formed from the exhaust of a rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Southern California roughly an hour before this capture. The photo was taken from a mountain ridge near Tucson, AZ.

Ice crystals carrying different light wavelengths? I'd like to hear NASA explain that. I think it would be more common. I mean, the whole 'aerodynamic' contrail idea. But, wow the colors man!
I'll post some pics soon of one day we all watched many contrails diverge to form one sky FULL of what appeared to be rain clouds. 9am-5pm Nov.8th, Redding CA to Yreka. I've never seem so many all join together to form a dark cloud mass, we (many people in town) counted approximately 30 contrails in the sky. The flight finder could only verify about half of those. They cross, bond, and form dark cloud matter. Whatever the cause, it was quite amazing.

Ice crystals don't "carry" any wavelengths. Iridescence is caused by the cumulative diffraction through many similarly sized Water droplets or ice crystals. It's somewhat similar to the way a rainbow works except a rainbow reflects light back towards the observer through total internal reflection, while iridescence requires backlighting.

Julie Marie AldertonI wanna know who is that guy, who signs his paycheck, where does he live or plan on living? ???
The posted photo deliberately omits the source and the title of the video so it's quite hard to find the original. But it turns out that this is a screenshot from one of the latest episodes of the Canadian documentary TV series "Découverte" (Discovery) which presents the development of the Bombardier CSeries aircraft. The segment with the image above can be watched here: http://ici.radio-canada.ca/tele/decouverte/2015-2016/segments/reportage/5524/series
In the segment it is clearly explained (in French) that the barrels are ballast tanks that simulate the weight of the passengers.
To answer Julie Marie Alderton's question: The person in the photo is Nicolas Tamestit, flight test engineer, his paycheck is signed by Bombardier Inc., and he lives in Montreal, Canada. Here's a video where he presents his work in some detail:
and he also explains how the water-filled ballast tanks are used during the flight testing:
It is obvious that the photo posted by Madison Star Moon is a deliberate hoax as whoever made the screenshot of the video must have watched the entire video and must have been well aware that it presents the flight testing of the Bombardier CSeries and the tanks are ballast tanks containing water.
Screenshots from an older Bombardier CSeries flight testing video were even used to create images like this one:
In fact this is from this video titled "Flight Test Crew Emergency Egress and Evacuation Testing", at 1:45 in the video:
Interesting... someone on Facebook commented "Do you have a link to the video?" to the photo above (on Amanda Danielle's page). I was wondering whether Amanda would post the link, and then everyone would see it's the Bombardier CSeries flight test. Guess what happened? The request for the link was deleted.
I really can't help but think that Amanda deliberately deceives her audience.

Yesterday I sent that person a link to the video. I also sent it to a few others asking questions in the comments. I haven't received replies from any of them.
Possibly they deleted their comments after seeing the video? Perhaps they contacted Amanda and informed them that an "NSA shill" had made contact with them and was spreading "propaganda"? The mind boggles as to what goes on in the fantasy world that is Amanda and her followers!
This picture has started doing the rounds on Facebook as an "engine modified for chemtrail spraying". I think it may have initially been spread as a joke, but some people seem to be sharing it seriously.
In reality it is a snow cannon, used to generate artificial snow cover at ski resorts.
The shots refer to a CFM-56 of the A-320 series, but also in the A-330 it is making the same change in post-production. The technicians have anticipated the intervention on the A-320s, in consideration of the fact that they are aircraft very common between the companies for the transports passengers and goods.
He suggests they are present only in CFM engines, and they are a new type of noozles for chemtrails. It would be a very stupid position for that.
In any case, I didn't find nothing. Somebody knows what's that?
If I'm interpreting the diagram on page 11 correctly in this manual someone uploaded here, that looks like it could be the thing labeled "Fan Air (to LPTACC valve)."
Been awhile but this one making the rounds with claim our current floods are being manipulated Australian government,, however the plane has USA N registration. Its seems EZFKA source is strange mix of denial conspiracy memes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_registration

The Twitter profile says their location is "Great Southern Satire Province", and the About page on their website says they do it for fun. Their gab.com profile says "Fake News in the Economic Zone Formerly Known As Australia". So it is satire.
